Banana Cream Perfection On #NationalBananaCreamPieDay, we wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes peak at the making of these classic desserts! We start with a crispy pie shell - baked in house - with a generous dollop of vanilla pudding. The pudding is smoothed and leveled to form a base for the fruit and cream. Each pie holds four perfectly ripe bananas, placed just so. After “tucking in” the fruit with another layer of pudding, each pie gets a dollop of freshly whipped cream. Almost ready for the finishing touches: A whipped cream border and 9 whipped cream “stars” … And, of course, toasted almonds and a cherry on top!
