We’ve had so many great memories at the Madonna Inn!

The Madonna inn is where my parents went the night they found out they were pregnant with me, over 30 years ago! They found out the news and wanted to celebrate so headed out there and had a champagne toast together once they got there, haha! So I’ve always wanted to stay there myself.

It was the first hotel my son stayed in. He was 9 months old and my husband had a rugby tournament in SLO and we decided heck, let’s just stay at the Madonna inn! We fell in love with it instantly!! The rooms, the pool and bar, the pink cake..yes!

It’s also the first place my husband and i went to and left the kids behind! It was my 30th bday and my mom watched the kids for a night and there was nowhere else i wanted to go! We had a great night and dinner at the steak house and got pink cake to go!

And then we went one more time for a rugby tournament again and our son was about 18 months. You can see the mess he made in the “what’s left” room haha!! We have 2 more kids now and would loooove to get up there again in the summer and enjoy that pool and those drinks!!
