Room 116:

Pioneer America

Westward Ho! Wagons were loaded and close kin were bid farewell as early pioneers headed west. With westward expansion, the frontier extended to the territories beyond the Mississippi River. Land was available for homesteading and pioneers were seeking rich, fertile soil for their crops. We recreated a comfortable setting to reflect the simple lifestyle of these early settlers. Deep green carpet and rustic wood beamed ceilings provide a subtle backdrop for the leather furnishings and framed frontier map complimenting this rural theme. Pioneer America is located in a single story building across from fenced pastures and has a king bed and shower.
