There’s nothing better than the end-piece!

Mr. Madonna was renowned for many reasons; his entrepreneurial endeavors, his mischievous sense of humor, his fondness for pastels, and… his breakfast order? Yes!

Even if his customary strudel and bacon breakfast was only famous to those who knew and loved him, it is a meal worth writing about.

Family and friends recall how much Alex loved this breakfast treat; as well as how he needed to finish his full cup of tea, then coffee, before he was ready to enjoy the food. Anyone wishing to share a bite of his pastry had better come equipped with a mouth of steel, as Alex was notorious for ordering his strudel sizzling hot.
